uTorrent sluggish on Vista x32

I recently upgraded from XP Pro to Vista Home Premium x32. At first uTorrent was running smooth, and then today all of a sudden its performance has decreased drastically.

It never shows up when I click on it in the taskbar and it is always stamped with "Not Responding" which always forces me to shut it down via Task Manager.

Iolo antivirus remnants on the machine aren't helpful.

Yep, its back again. Every time I start downloading something, thats when the freezing starts. How do I get rid of the Iolo antivirus remnants?

You can probably purge them using hijackthis. There's probably some other removal tools available as well.
