uTorrent already has this feature. It's called UPnP(Universal Plug 'n' Play). You need to enable the uPnP setting on your router. Then in uTorrent Preferences>>Network Options check the box for 'Enable UPnP Port Mapping' and either select a port or have uTorrent randomly select a port for you. If you would like a random port to be used each time uTorrent runs check the box for 'Randomize port each time uTorrent starts'. Thats about it.

Without manual port forwarding my BitComet net was OK but uTorrent was not untill I manualy forwarded. My router supports UPnP but didn't help me.

UPnP is not just a µTorrent problem. I've had problems getting it to work in other programs too. Seems that the different implementations people come up with can have bad interactions. In some cases it will work for a while, then fail, or do the opposite and fail then start working.

I don't trust it any more, so I always manually set ports so I know exactly what is going on.

I've really got to think the problem is with uTorrent. I've been using Azureus for a very long time, and it has never had a problem with UPnP. But no matter what I do, how many times I try, or which version of uTorrent I use, it just doesn't map ports at all.
