Unable to use utorrent on my wireless network

I am unable to use utorrent in my room, the server is a shared network so i assume they have restricted access. There are no problems through ethernet at my office. I have scowered through forums and tried several things, i now have been able to forward a port using encrypted packet headers (20 or 22) but now utorrent is always awaiting log in on the DHT. I have tried changing the proxy to socks4 and 5 and HTTP etc with no luck.

I have seen many similar threads so apologies to anyone who has to repeat themselves! but i havent had any luck using those threads.

It feels like im close but I just need some indiviual advice please? excuse any wrong terminology i am new to torrents. thanks.

I dont have to use a proxy when i am at work and i have been using utorrent there fine for weeks so i think i have the setup ok, although it has never allowed me a port but i have figured that out now. My firewall is authorised for utorrent. As i share the wireless connection, just like in a dorm or halls of residence i thought that i am being blocked from utilising the connection for this data transfer means, i am able to download videos from websites etc. i tested the speed and it is 2125Kbit/s. although is this the speed of the whole network? what advice would you give to someone that thinks they are being blocked by their wifi server but can use utorrent through LAN settings? (just download at work probably!) thanks
