R0X45
Sorry! I'm new to all this. I noticed in utorrent 1.8, under 'Transfer' it states how much of the file I have successfully downloaded and how much of the file I've uploaded. After my download is complete is it O.K to just remove the torrent and not complete uploading? Would it have any effect on my downloaded file if I did?
Firon
You need to seed until your ratio is 1.0.
R0X45
Do you mean the 'share ratio'?
thelittlefire
Yes. The ratio is a simple division of the uploaded/downloaded. It's fair to share as much as you downloaded, i.e. > 1.0 ratio. That's why/what the default Queueing rule states a 1.5 ratio and 90 minutes of dedicated seeding after finishing downloading. You'll notice torrents which finish below these numbers still have a * in the "#" column. When you have satisfied either the default or per-torrent queueing rule are now " " (aka blank) in the "#" column.
