gentry Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 I've been using utorrent for a couple years now, and this is either new or I've never noticed it before...I'm downloading a large file with only a few seeders who are rarely online, so it sits active for long periods without much activity. But once in awhile I notice a peer comes online who themselves are at 0.0%, but appear to be sending me pieces of the torrent.I have gone from 85.2% to 87% of a nearly 6G torrent, seemingly solely from this peer who themselves appear to not have any of the file.Is my torrent being corrupted? torrero Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 Some clients like libtorrent,opera,flashget etc dont refresh/report their percentages on-the-fly.If you stop this torrent and reconnect to this peer, you will see the correct percentages he got.
