khaos64
I have in my Queueing section set my seed ratio at 100%, but my seeds never stop they keep going. Once my download is finished it will still show an ETA of what I assume is when it should stop seeding but it never does. Once it hits the 1.0 mark the ETA disappears. Even If I set the minutes low it still goes on. These are on new torrents and I've checked the properties of the individual torrents and it shows the settings that I have set. Also, if I manually change it through the properties it still has no effect.Any help would be appreciated. I have 1.8.1, but its been happening for several previous versions as well. DreadWingKnight
Is there a "*" in the # column for the torrents that keep going?
khaos64
At the moment I cannot tell you because I removed them. But I just had a download finish and it went to a * I will tell you if it changes once it passes the limit.
thelittlefire
It will ;0 Keep in mind per-torrent queue seeding rules override the defaults in Preferences.
khaos64
littlefire, Thats what I'm saying the per-torrent rules show the same as what I have set in my preferences so there shouldn't be a problem there. And DreadWing my torrent passed the seed limit and still has a *. Would it help if I get some screen shots or anything?
thelittlefire
How exactly did it pass? What did you change the numbers to?
khaos64
In my preferences I have it saying "Ratio is: <= 100% or seeding time is: <= (min) 90". Then in my window that shows my torrents in the Ratio column it will go over 1.000, which if I am understanding it correctly, is 100%, and keep seeding. If I right click on that torrent and go to properties and under "Seed While" it has the same settings and in my preferences.
thelittlefire
If you are already over 1.0 ratio your ETA counts down until you have been seeding for 90 minutes for those numbers. How long is left?
khaos64
None. Its blank. It will seed more than that 90 min. They have gone all night long before. Ive also changed that to like 5 min to see what would happen but no change.
thelittlefire
OK, so there's no problem there, are you sure you actually TICKED the option "limit when finished" and set it to stop? Ultima's manual (which you can get by pressing F1 in the client in 1.8) explains the nuance of the Preferences in more detail.
khaos64
I dont know how, but some how I missed that. Thanks for your help.
Switeck
I think FORCE started torrents ignore seeding limits.
thelittlefire
Indeed, indeed. My oversight as well thankyou
Grayson Carlyle
"limit when finished"I'm having the same problem as mentioned, but I cannot find any checkbox for this.I just wiped my OS and re-installed; I was able to set things up in an older version before this and it carried over to 8, but I can't find the option in 8. Torrents just carry on forever.
Switeck
Absolute latest v1.8.1 beta at least has what you're looking for in Preferences, Queueing.
