thelittlefire
To put it a different way: What kind of NIC do you use and do you know the chipset it uses? Are you using wireless or USB to get internet on that laptop?

Firon
If your Windows isn't making minidumps, then enable that option. How to enable minidumpsSome may choose to disable the creation of minidumps (to save space perhaps?), but they are very important when troubleshooting a problem. To enable the minidumps: 1. Press Win+Pause to start the System Properties dialog; 2. Go to Advanced\Startup and recovery; 3. Ensure that Write debugging information is set to Small memory dump (64 kb).
jmb
Installed new Broadcom NIC drivers per your link. Now using b57xp32.sys ver 10.78.0.0, date 05/12/2008. Still getting ka-boom (BSOD) same error.I DID get a mini dump. Was already set to take a mimi dump per your steps 1-3 above, BUT I didn't have a pagefile on c: (who knows where it went; most likely I was cleaning up c: and forgot to redefine it). Anyway, with your settings and a pagefile, I have the dump: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=f12ce739074c36b7d2db6fb9a8902bdajmb
