Switeck Posted August 30, 2008 Report Share Posted August 30, 2008 Many things about computers change...about every 3-5 years Microsoft makes a new interface that is in many ways worse than the last for Windows.File sharing is an especially-changing field.BitTorrent has more in common with download resumer/accelerator programs than "I share this folder" file sharing programs like Limewire, Kazaa, and DC++.Every file-sharing program has its fair share of quirks...as well as typical networking issues.Being firewalled due to a software firewall or router isn't anything terribly new for instance, just a LOT more common.
