g0rey1
hi - i've had a torrent that is at 99.6% for a long time, so i contacted my friend and got the original files. i stopped the torrent, replaced the three files, forced a re-check, restarted the torrent and those pieces are reporting the "old" incomplete size rather than the actual size that's there (with the new files i replaced).for example, one file reports that it has downloaded 29.1MB of 31.1MB, 93.5%. i replaced that file with the full 31.1MB file in the downloaded directory, yet utorrent is still reporting 29.1MB file size....any ideas? DreadWingKnight
Cross-file pieces are missing most likely.
g0rey1
there are no files other than the three i replaced reporting anything less than 100%.
DreadWingKnight
Check the files tab. Where in the files are the missing pieces?
g0rey1
two of the files - piece missing at the end of one and the beginning of the next.third file - right in the middle.
Ultima
If that's what it says after a forced recheck, then the files are corrupt (or at the least, different from how they were when the original creator first created the torrent).
