renwickftw
Hello all.I am facing a bit of a dilemma. When I try to download torrents from my own computer, it takes me ages to connect to peers. When I try to download them exact same torrent from my dad's computer, a lot more peers connect to me at a faster rate. Now we are both going through the same router sharing the exact same internet connection. So the problem must be with my computer. Here's the stuff you guys want:-Both the utorrent settings on my and my dad's computer are the same.-I am using the settings for xx/768K in the thread in one of your mod's signature, on both computers.-Green-Network OK: Your network connection is working the way it should.-8-WinXP-Avira AntiVir Premium-DLink DSL-G604T-Exetel (Australia)-9000kbps/750kbps
thelittlefire
Whose computer IP did you forward the port to? You're not trying to download on both computers simultaneously?Btw, you're infected with bad things http://www.sophos.com/security/analyses/viruses-and-spyware/w32ircbotxl.html and that numbered EXE in \windows
renwickftw
Our computers have the same internet IP. No I didnt download at the same time. Sorry but which lines of my log did you find those bugs?
thelittlefire
On your LAN, each computer needs a dedicated and DIFFERENT IP (start > run > cmd/ k ipconfig for the forwarding rule.O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [32827] C:\WINDOWS/32827.exeO21 - SSODL: prodigy1 - {37913B14-60BB-4AC1-A7AD-F4FB94F36BFE} - newsystem25.dll (file missing)is what I'm referring to. Sometimes all you can do is repair the windows install after a compromise if you don't catch it immediately (especially on a "fast" connection) when you don't keep connection-based access logs because there's no telling what whoever infected your computer sent/downloaded to you.
