sunce_1 Posted September 6, 2008 Report Share Posted September 6, 2008 hi all i have winxp sp3 . i installed utorrent and it worked perfectly . after a month or so . suddenly without any worning or change that i did the download speed becomes 20-30kb max !! . it happend before and i had to reinstall windows all over again and it fixed the problem . does eanyone knows what caouses the problem and how can i fix it without formatting windows ? thanks for your help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sunce_1 Posted September 6, 2008 Author Report Share Posted September 6, 2008 the version of utorrent is the latest but it happend also in previous versions . the isp is not blocking utorrent . if i will format my computer it will work fine again . thelittlefire Posted September 7, 2008 Report Share Posted September 7, 2008 If it's looking like there's a hard limit on your download speed it certainly sounds like your ISP is shaping you to a certain speed... do you have an (unspecified) usage or download quota for your internet plan?I'd go through the sticky (just click Speed problems above/below). sunce_1 Posted September 7, 2008 Author Report Share Posted September 7, 2008 no i dont . it just happend like that . if lets say i will reinstall windows and utorrent it will download in full speed 200-300kb and not 20-30kb maximum per torrent .no hard limit or something like that . wierd . ..
