jaelanicu
I know that there are at least 90988 users - based on the number of registered users on this forum. How about the main site traffic stats?
thelittlefire
Router.uTorrent.com uses ~ 1.2 GiB of traffic / mo. Again, not likely to be public. They don't need to use numbers to market the client to get a better niche. In any case numbers I'd imagine are most useful for testing rollout of specific versions/builds over the auto-update mechanism. Remember 4 uT downloads are 1 MiB of traffic. Ultima
lol. 1.2GB for monthly DHT traffic is a speck of dust compared to the download servers' monthly bandwidth usage -- at least for the past month anyway. Just FYI (and I can't even say I'm exaggerating here).
thelittlefire
... Did I say anything about the "real" bandwidth. Point being that private data is private, and not likely to be released. It wasn't back when people demanded user figures before/after BT, Inc. took over, and it isn't now even though (I'm guessing) everyone with server access could pull up those logs. Ultima
And where did I say you said anything about "real" bandwidth? I suggest you re-read my post, in case it wasn't obvious enough that my specifically/qualitatively comparing your supposed number for DHT traffic against "real" bandwidth usage was simply meant to be taken as a frame of reference.
