eeme
After closing utorrent I still keep getting connection attempts on my utorrent port hours after closing the program. There's about 10-15 tries per second and I think it's messing with my connection (playing games online is laggy).Any tips?

tunio
I had the same problem as you... Some forwarded ports remained open after utorrent was closed and this caused my connection speed to go way down.Try setting bt.graceful_shutdown=true
Switeck
DISABLE: UPnP, DHT (both kinds!), and Resolve IPs (right-click in PEERS window on an active torrent). That should eliminate UDP packets from uTorrent. You only need to port forward TCP on your router to your computer's LAN ip this way. Firon
You'll always get TCP hits even after closing the client though, as other peers cache your IP:port. And it shouldn't lag your connection at all.
