abacus
Hi, this question is related to a problem which I've been experiencing with utorrent over the past week or two. Basically, I've narrowed down my inability to forward a port to some kind of router issue (and yes I'm reasonably sure its not being caused by any firewall or software on my pc). Just to give some related details: I'm using a Vista machine, utorrent 1.8, and a TP-Link WR541 wireless router (yes, I know its crusty); i have a stable local IP; changing ports hasn't helped; internet, etc. works perfectly fine; torrents are streaming at a reasonable speed (150kB/s) but forwarded port remain closed.Help? Switeck
A bad router may handle TCP forwarding ok but choke trying to forward UDP also to the same port.
