madhouserevival
Don't know why, but a couple days ago utorrent is reporting my port isn't open. My speed is still great as ever though. Just wondering how that can be? Seems contradictory, doesn't it?Thanks for the best Torrent program ever. I used to complain about it all the time then I fell on the right settings and now I love it again!
Ultima
http://bt.degreez.net/firewalled.htmlNope, not really contradictory. Having a closed listening port simply means you can't accept incoming connections -- it doesn't prevent you from establishing outgoing connections. What modem are you using? What router? What firewall?
madhouserevival
Belkin something router (believe it or not, I'm an advanced user), cable internet, same thing I've had for a few months. Turns out, other port checkers say the port is open, whereas the utorrent version says it's closed. So must me something on the website itself. Thanks.
