hyde Posted September 16, 2008 Report Share Posted September 16, 2008 In the Bandwidth Section where we can assign the Global Upload/Download Rate Limit, it does not seem to work properly. I have assigned 10 kB/s the Max. Upload Rate. But my Alternate Upload Rate is 0 kB/s when I am not downloading. I had to do this b'coz my ISP provides my with Night Unlimited Download and there is a Cap when I download during the day time. But my Uploads are free. Now the problem I am facing is that I have configured uTorrent v1.8 (build 11742) to seed only at day time. Now the program seeds only at 10 kB/s but not at full speed where as I have configured the Alternate Upload Rate as 0 kB/s when not downloading. I have to manually stop the torrents that are still in the Q to get downloaded or is about to complete so that it can seed at full speed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Switeck Posted September 18, 2008 Report Share Posted September 18, 2008 I guess this qualifies as a bug then.If you are in Seed-only mode, uTorrent *SHOULD* be using the "Alternate upload rate when not downloading".In the meantime, reconfigure Scheduler to set download+upload speeds for Limited times and use that for when you want to download.
