alebanon
Hello,hi again thelittlefire, i was finally able to obtain a LAN cable for the modem, no more freezing whatsoever !!!!!!!!!!!the usb cable was the problem, but now there are speed problems, will not go over 12 kbps, whatever I do. Before, the average speed was 25-35.i read switek notes on speed setupi ran the speed test, it showed a download of around 100 and upload of around 55-65, so i entered his setting for that ║ 64 kbit/sec ║ 5│ 2║ 25│ 30║ 1│ 1║ not much change thoughis there anything that i am missing out? thanks, from Lebanon
Ultima
Don't limit per-torrent upload rates to 1 KiB/s?
alebanon
no i did not, the band allocation to each torrent is set to unlimited, do I fix it to 1? and the maximum upload rate in the preferences is set to 5 as per switek instructions
Switeck
If your speed test says 100 kilobits/second download for your line, then 12 KiloBYTES/second download IS THE MAX YOU CAN GET!You probably have something wrong with your line...which would not be uTorrent's fault. alebanon
seems weird, i just ran the speed test again, at dslreports.com for 10 consecutive times, kept getting speeds between 270kbps and 340 kbps for download but the upload speed remained close to 50, do I keep the above the settings? Switeck
uTorrent's settings are almost entirely based on how fast you can upload...which hasn't really changed much.
