Does AVG 8 Free interferes with uT ?

Is there a common trouble with AVG and uTorrent?

I noted that leaving Resident Shield ON (necessary), uT freezes suddenly. Setting it OFF, uT seems to work without freezing.

I'll do more test, but now since yesterday (with RS OFF) i got uT running for about 12 hours. Before, (RS ON) i got uT freezed almost 5 times in a day.

Ive got vista and AVG 8, i did have utorrent freeze for about 2 minutes but then it returned to normal strange eh.

Other than that it works for me hunky dory.

I'm on Xp-Sp3/1gb-ram.

Later i'll also post some debugging info (hijack + process explorer), to see if something in the background can cause problem to uT.

(anyway, without Resident Shield ON uT is running for almost 1 day NOW... before it froze any 2/3 hours... ... ...)

I had to dump AVG 8.0 free for Avira AntiVir Personal. Google AVG 8.0 and you will see that it likes to run your CPU usage up to 100% and cause your other programs to stall while it is freaking out.

AVG never runs 100% cpu, but it surely blocks uT in my system... uT is running since Sunday with RESIDENT SHIELD OFF... :|
