cauchy
iv'e recently gets tons of packets pointed to mine 32459 port, but i've set random port in uTorrent, so i suppose it shouldn't be that very port. Packets contains sth similar to this:0000:64 31 3A 61 64 32 3A 69 d1:ad2:i0008:64 32 30 3A 56 AB 94 73 d20:V«"s0010:CC 37 B5 61 5D 62 23 17 Ě7µa]b#0018:0D 58 3A 19 FA 8A 79 35 .X:úŠy50020:39 3A 69 6E 66 6F 5F 68 9:info_h0028:61 73 68 32 30 3A 61 24 ash20:a$0030:A7 13 52 D1 40 61 5E 32 §RŃ@a^20038:89 3F 2D 85 16 F1 46 64 ‰?-…ńFd0040:DF C8 65 31 3A 71 39 3A ßČe1:q9:0048:67 65 74 5F 70 65 65 72 get_peer0050:73 31 3A 74 38 3A 7B C6 s1:t8:{Ć0058:0A BD 41 AD 27 50 31 3A .˝A-'P1:0060:79 31 3A 71 65 y1:qe2'nd packet for comparison:0000:64 31 3A 61 64 32 3A 69 d1:ad2:i0008:64 32 30 3A 87 B1 E4 F5 d20:‡±äő0010:3E 2F 14 71 E8 F5 C7 89 >/qčőlj0018:47 25 74 6E 79 C2 CF 88 G%tnyÂĎˆ0020:65 31 3A 71 34 3A 70 69 e1:q4:pi0028:6E 67 31 3A 74 38 3A 40 ng1:t8:@0030:27 02 81 45 87 6C E7 31 '. Any one of you aware why I get those packets even with uTorrent is turned off ?
Inf
Its just the other clients on the DHT network know you where there, and attempt to communicate with the previously open program. Your PC still receives the UDP requests, yet if there is nothing running on the PC to respond to it, those peers will eventually give up and stop trying. Firon
It's probably DHT peers that are trying to connect to your old IP:port, it's basically inevitable.
