Trilvester
When I quit utorrent and stop torrenting after like 2min my internet will go out. I don't have any problems with my connections speed but my internet shutting off is just aggravating. To get it to work again I have to power cycle the router. Once I do that it only works again for about 15-20min before I have to do that again. It stays like this for a few hours or more before going back to normal. There are a couple reasons that might have caused this;reinstalling windows and installing utorrent 1.8. I'm not sure if those have anything to do with anything but it seemed to occur right after I did those. Anyone know whats going on?
Firon
Do you have net.max_halfopen set to 8 or something else? You can find that in Advanced. Also, you can try using 1.8.1.
Trilvester
My net.max_halfopen is at 8. I also tried 1.8.1 and that didn't work. The odd thing is that as soon as I start utorrent back up after my internet shuts down my internet will work again.
Firon
By 1.8.1, I mean specifically 12323.Try turning off DHT as well. Probably what's happening is your router's overloading from a bunch of sudden connections as ut announces all its torrents in preparation for shutting down. Trilvester
Turning off DHT didn't work either. Any other solutions?
