Crossword
I upgraded to 1.8 a couple of days ago and tried downloading a torrent today but the speed would stay around 5kb/s. I uninstalled it and re-downloaded 1.6.1 but the problem was still the same. I tried downloading something on BitLord but it was the same there as well so it was not just an utorrent problem. My connection is fine. I tried an speed test and it says my connection is 4.5MB's. This is driving me crazy! Help please.

Crossword
AOL. It could be them but I'm presuming this is problem occurred because I upgraded to 1.8. I certainly didn't anything else to do it.I've already tried port forwarding, turning my windows firewall on and off and unblocking the ports on my router. thelittlefire
Do you see http://utorrent.com/faq.php#What_does_Download_Limited_in_the_status_bar_mean.3F in the status bar or General tab? Don't limit your upload so low... What are your current Ctrl-G settings?

Switeck
2nd link in my signature...choose the uTorrent settings that match the UPLOAD MAX for your connection. Run online speed tests to determine that...don't trust what your ISP told you.
Crossword
I did all that, no luck. I deleted utorrent and tried out BitLord again and it's the same problem. Then I downloaded Azerus and the speeds were horrible as well so it's not just an utorrent problem. I've ran a virus check as well and everything is clean. I really can't figure this one out.
