i have utorrent 1.8 and i have a problem the triangle is only yellow never green and the download speed is 50 kb max but i have 7.2 mb i try to open the port 45682 somebody help me

click the yellow triangle, it will pop open a window and a button will be shown to "click here to test if your port is forwarded correctly" and also that it is open to the outside world. click that button see what happens.

with regards to the speed thing, i would GUESS that either:-

1. the torrent is limited in availability

2. your ISP throttles torrents

3. you are downloading from people with a slow or throttled connection

i test the port and he says error port

make sure your personal firewall or windows firewall didnt block utorrent. you can manually forward your port here http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm

Don't count on getting an open port on a cellular network

1st and 2nd link in my signature.

1st one is for troubleshooting, and tells you what information you'll need to give us if the problem isn't solved quickly.

2nd link gives suggested settings for uTorrent based on your max sustainable UPLOAD speed.

NOTE: Max sustainable UPLOAD speed is far less than max download speed for most connections.

If you happen to be using a half open connection limit greater than 8, that alone can partially explain your problems.

uTorrent v1.8 has a serious problem with its half open connection limit handling, even at 8.

The latest v1.8.1 beta should have that cleared up, so try it.
