Hi this might be the wrong forum but i will ask anyway.

i am trying to send an email from home to email at work. it is an exe file (actually its an original nintendo emulator, im so slow at work at the moment) trouble is when its gets to the work email it gets block because it says it contains an executable file. i have tried changing the file name to pdf, 7z, jpg, rar, zip but it still knows what it is. how can i get past this problem.

Maybe zip or rar the file with Winrar, Winzip or 7zip before emailing it.

Another solution, use HJ-Split http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/ to split .exe in parts as .exe.001 .002 etc

It's a standalone freeware and doesn't need admin rights I think. And email the parts.

3rd solution, use a free file hoster like http://rapidshare.com/ or http://www.mediafire.com/ to dwl the exe at your work.
