KMAT
Hi. My system recently got shutdown improperly due which i usually lost the pieces currently being downloaded of the active torrents, but this time all my torrent disappeared from utorrent i was able to restart the torrents from the C:\Users\KMAT\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent (i am using vista x64 ultimate) and started them in the same directory i did originally and force rechecked them which caused them to go back o their previous progress before the improper shutdown. My question is why this happened and weather my method is safe to re-download the torrents or do i have to start all over again? Thanks in advance.
GTHK
The crash probably occurred before µT's resume data could be saved. Your method of restarting the torrents is acceptable. Was it a Windows BSOD that occurred? If there's a crash dump from it you might be able to figure what caused the crash by doing a bugcheck analysis or uploading the dump for someone else to check. KMAT
No it was not BSOD the main electric supply got turned off so it was simply an improper shutdown. Thanks for your help.
