utorrent 1.8 speed test checks wrong port

Since upgrading to 1.8 utorrent's speed test does not display or check port forwarding consistently. More often than not it checks a port number which is not my assigned listening port, and it will not allow me to change the number of the port it will check. Any thoughts?
