thelittlefire
You only have 1 computer connected to the belkin? What Ctrl-G settings are you using? What are your speedtest results?Don't have UPnP on the router if you manually forward.. it can cause trouble. Also be sure that your IP is outside the router's DHCP range. Switeck
You're not alone.Your ISP (Carphone Warehouse Broadband Services -- which possibly resells to AOL and others) just turned completely hostile...and NUMEROUS OTHERS are suffering from it too:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=43243http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=43393http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=44683http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=46483http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=46677http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=46699http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=46728http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=46778http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=46868http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=46886http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=46930http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=47082http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=47112http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=47183http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=47210http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=47233http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=47251http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=47390http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=47629http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=47953http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=47956http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=47997http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=48006http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=48067http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=48159http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=48225http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=48347http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=48414http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=48475http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=48478http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=48866http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=27838012To fight the disruptions,DISABLE: UPnP, NAT-PMP LPD, DHT (both kinds!), and Resolve IPs (right-click in PEERS window on an active torrent). That should eliminate UDP packets from uTorrent. You only need to port forward TCP this way. Some (Belkin?) routers may not handle UDP and TCP forwarded to the same port reliably.Teredo/IPv6 and uTP peer/seed connections also use UDP but don't need UDP forwarded to work...it just helps them a little.Keep Peer Exchange enabled...it should be encrypted due to above settings.bt.connect_speed set to its default of 20 new outgoing connection peer/seed attempts per second could be too high, try 1-4 instead.Lower net.max_halfopen to only 4. (Constantly making 4 new connections outgoing at once should be enough if uTorrent is not firewalled!)Choose FORCED encryption outgoing, and disable legacy (unencrypted) connections incoming. You might want to experiment with allowing incoming legacy (unencrypted) connections to see if that's a little faster.Choose 256 kilobits/second upload settings from 2nd link in my signature...as even encrypted, uTorrent's upload is probably throttled pretty low anyway. It should also be a little harder for your ISP to detect and throttle uTorrent...though they may be throttling so aggressively that they throttle unknown (encrypted) traffic anyway. 60 connection max is all your Belkin router is rated for. Switeck
It's not guaranteed to help, especially for severely hostile ISPs. Did you try the 2nd link in my signature?
