kool maudit Posted September 30, 2008 Report Share Posted September 30, 2008 hello,i am with radioactif in montreal, who apparently throttles bittorrent. i got around this by turning on encryption, and have been downloading all day at speeds in excess of 200 kbps.about ten minutes ago, all torrents fell to about 20 kbps, and have stayed down since then.is this the isp monitoring my connection or something? and can i get around it using further settings changes?let me know. thelittlefire Posted October 1, 2008 Report Share Posted October 1, 2008 Let it sit overnight. If it's shaped on a schedule you should plainly see it on the Speed tab in the morning. (set 5 min interval, holding 10 hours of data)... should set the upload limit to your noticed shaped speed so uT doesn't keep trying to go over it.
