atwitsend
Okay I didn't see anything on this in the post. Hopefully I didn't look over it. But I do have a question...I use VNC for my remote desktop and after creating a torrent I cant figure out how to transfer it over to my ftp server so family and friends are able to get it..Can this be done? If so anyone care to share the details. Im somewhat new to this so simplicity would work best with me, lol. Thanks in advance.
thelittlefire
Bittorrent won't work over FTP unless you make it accessible over HTTP and add that information as a web seed in the torrent information.Or did I misunderstand you?
abydos
You want to create a torrent file (from your stuffs) and share it with your ftp server, or you just want to upload the completed download to you ftp server?I case: you have to upload the torrent file manually, uTorrent does not have this "feature" (why should?)II case: you can use proxy (mirror the download folder to ftp), or write a program that scans the torrent status, if its complete the program uploads the content to an ftp.By the way i dont understand why are u using vnc (linux? with utorrent? ) cause there is Remote Desktop.
