thelittlefire
Your torrents are already copied for you where uT would look for them http://utorrent.com/faq.php#Where_are_the_settings_and_.torrent_files_stored.3FAs far as a procedure to do.. you can follow the migration guide from http://utorrent.com/guides.php as well as search for "lost resume.dat" (the file which was corrupted and loaded as 0-bytes) which is why you see a blank torrent pane. smalltalkdan
I have just had the identical problem - system hung, I restarted and all of my torrents in the download list were gone. Fortunately, all of the downloads had been completed, but I had a lot that I was leaving open as seeds. When I tried to reload them (copied from my .torrent directory), they showed as "checking" in the status column, but never started uploading, so I deleted them. While not a critical matter right now, if anyone has any insight about why this happened it would be good to know....dan
Firon
Only one torrent at a time will recheck. So if you had a lot of torrents in checking status, you just need to wait for it to go through the list one by one.
thelittlefire
If you're likely to have problems like this, make regular backups of your settings directory, OR check your resume.dat BEFORE opening uTorrent. http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=31306 has saved me many hours of re-entry.
