ChrisDamm
Hello All.I have this problem, i used to have a internet with 2mb/s down, and 1mb/s up. And there was no problem at all, and it downloadet torrents at high speeds like 1mb/s . Now i change ISP, and got a connection at 2mb/s down and 500kb/s Up, not really much different. But for some reason after i got this my download speed in total, won't ever go higher than 200 kb/s . And even its only downloading with 200 kb/s, it still take the connecting speed down with 1,5mb/s without actually downloading with that speed. I havent changed any options since i changed, so i wondered if anyone know how i can get it to download with all the 2mb/s like my old internet used too, instead of a maximum on 200kb/s. Thanks in advance. Best Regards Chris
Switeck
You probably have bits and bytes confused. And your old connection sounds like it was a LOT faster than officially rated.2nd link in my signature to configure uTorrent to match your linespeed.NOTE: settings are UPLOAD-based, so you probably need the 512 kilobits/second upload ones! ChrisDamm
Thanks, however i think i didn't make me too clear. The problem is, that the speed on these 2 connections should be the same. And its easy to see that some torrents could easily go higher than 200kb/s, but some cap seems to not allow it When i with the old connection (With the same speed) Sometimes could download with like 800-1000 kb/s. thelittlefire
You can't get higher than 256 KiBps theoretical maximum if you've got 2Mbit down
Switeck
And 461kb/s up is much closer to 448 kilobits/second upload settings on my recommended speed guide than 512.
