proboller86
First off i have changed ISPs & addresses. I used to be able to download at anywere from 200-600 kb/s. Now i am lucky to get 50 kb/s. I have a wrt54g router but i have plugged the ethernet cable directly from ISPs box into my computer and its the same so i don't think that its the routers problem. I have a 6mb/s download speed with a 300kb/s upload speed internet connection speed. It was working fine at my old place and now since i moved it have never gotten above 150kb/s. I just went through the steps again but could only get up to 150 kb/s and no more. I am not very technical when it comes to details of all this. Does anyone have some suggestions that i could try. I also checked to see if my ISP is throttleing my connection and they said that it does not. It said that they recieved a uploading speed of 307 so that was on too. I was at my other place yesterday and was maxing out my connection. I came here last night and left the same torrents active and now they work work. PLEASE HELPI have went through and port fowarded too.I checked out open office and can only get 25kb/s download speed
Switeck
2nd link in my signature gives suggested settings for uTorrent based on your max sustainable UPLOAD speed. The closest match seems to be 320 kilobits/second upload settings. proboller86
i have it set on 384 upload because i don thave a 320 setting. the other closest is 256 kb/s. but even with that i can only get 50kb/s download speeds. i just checked the port and its closed now. I have switch between using the WRT54G v8 router which is the same one i was using before and using it straight out of the ISPs modem. I still get the same speeds.
