Blast
On a few torrents I've been on—there doesn't seem to be any correlation between those that have this error and those that do not, from the data available to me—files are downloaded even if I set their priority to "skip". How can I stop uTorrent from doing this?EDIT: I start out with all of the files unselected, then select the files I actually want to download, one by one, so it's not like I'm setting them to "skip" after I've started downloading. Firon
Torrents download in pieces of fixed sizes. Invariably, the last piece of a file will be shared with another file. You'll end up with part of a skipped file being downloaded, as BitTorrent requires downloading the entire piece. The unwanted chunks are stored in a partfile in the same dir as the other downloaded data, as they're also required for seeding back.
