spudhed
when i upgraded to 1.8 from 1.7 (running under wine in ubuntu) torrents wouldnt open from my browser anymore, it just gives me an error saying "xxxx.torrent could not be found" so i have to save them and open in the app, not a major issue i know but annoying.then when i started it up this morning i saw there was a new version so i installed it hoping it would fix the problem, but it didnt and even caused a whole new one, now i cant get connectable, i know i have everything setup right and have tried all the usual tricks but no luck, if i try and use the speed guide it does nothing when the check if port is forwarded button and says current port:0 despite it being set to 45005
Firon
Set a .torrent storage folder to one that actually exists and that you know for sure has the correct permissions. Make sure this is NOT the same as the auto-load folder.Turn off UPnP and set your port manually.
thelittlefire
You really should update WINE too... Ubuntu repositories are usually behind.
Switeck
And update to v1.8.1 if you haven't already -- it should be MUCH better than v1.8.
