Firon
You don't have an anti-virus app do you?
Gooey
Yeah I have got Kaspersky Antivirus Personal 5.0.388 (Latest Build)It is closed though. Although there may be services resident in the memory. I'll try uninstall and tel you know the results.
Gooey
Nope it wasn't my AV i've completly uninstalled it and i'm still getting the error The only other thing i have running is ZoneAlarm that's it.
Firon
Weird... I can't think of what could be causing that. Uh, close it and rename utorrent.exe to something else, then try running it?
Gooey
No that didn't work either I had a plan i'd try saving the torrent to disk and opening it through the open dialog through uTorrent. That didn't work either. So i don't know what dould be the problem?Isn't anyone else having this Error. Or is it just little old me Does me being able to rename the .exe whilst it's in use have anything to do with this? Shouldn't i be getting an error from windows saying the file is in use? :/Like i said files will download if i add them through 1.3 then open the new 1.4 or the Betas. It seems that adding the torrent with 1.4 > causes the error.

z00z0
Gooey:Isn't that HDi on your taskbar? Though i don't see it on the processlist. If it is, try to close it, it did some strange things on my config - though i couldn't test 1.23, because of the "no donations no website" problem. crab
i get a nat error message if utorrent starts at system startup. i have to restart manually, then it works fine. utorrent 1.4 upnp enabled, no matter what port is set, winxp+sp2 no firewall, dlink di-604 upnp enabled, tried a pc in place of di-604. i think there should be a delay between the start of utorrent and the port open request. sorry for posting this issue here, btw i have this problem since the release of 1.2. SledgeDG
@Gooey:What comes to mind if I look at your tasklist in terms of blocking:you run the XP Firewall together with ZA (alg.exe = Application Layer Gateway)Or is it that you have ICS enabled (which might use alg.exe as well)-DG
Gooey
Ludde the debugging would be great SledgeDG: alg.exe is required to use a 3rd party firewall in XP. I do share the internet on a router Netgear RP614v3. Windows firewall is off. So.. I don't know.

rafi
I'm not sure, but the "?" might be the label on the "help" button in the RSS->favorites tab. It doesn't really need any translation...
dAbReAkA
ludde told me that with the current system there is no way (everything from the dialogs has to be in the language file)it seems that the "?" is ignored.. the easiest way for this to be fixed is to change the caption - maybe "Info" is a good alternative (although there is no space at all)
