utorrent killing my connection on a weird fassion

so, my internet connection is working fine, then I open utorrent and it makes it...like, choke.

Every other connection needed app on my pc cant connect (Firefox, Msn messenger, online-gaming, etc.) weird thing is that utorrent is still downloading fine, so i exit utorrent to see if its using up my whole speed, and nothing, the internet wont respond, but if i reopen utorrent it will still be able to download.

The only solution so far is to reset my network adapter, and i dont want to do that everytime i want to go online.

any ideas on whats going on?

running in vista x64, nforce 550 chipset.

only happens with utorrent, tried with bitcomet and azureus (or vuze, boose whatever is called now) and they work fine.
