Folder name by date

Hi,

I think a realy nice feature whould be if there was a way to get utorrent to automatically name the folder by its date.

Ex: Downloaded/"Date"/TorrentName

What you all think about that?

Because it's a niche (and very narrow/specific) feature with little utility for most users beyond yourself and a handful of others? Features are added if we think they're useful for a wide/broad range of users. Else, it'd be feature creep.

Perhaps if one could come up with a generalized way for µTorrent to move data (so that it can encompass the existing file-moving facilities while making it easy to add new criteria for moving), it would potentially be more likely.

I guess it might be niche, but I for one came to this forum looking for this specific function.

I use the RSS-downloader for most of my regular downloads, such as TV-shows. A total of about 20 or so episodes a week. It would be so much easier to sort them in an external device such as a mediaplayer or an xbox360 and know what is what if there was an option to save automatic downloads in a folder named after the date they were downloaded.

Are there any plug-ins or something like that for us who would like the option?

No, µTorrent doesn't have any plugin system.
