DreadWingKnight Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 Check the trackers tab for the offending torrents to see what the error message is.As for the logger tab, have you been switching back and forth between 1.8.1 and an old versions?
Another Loser Posted October 11, 2008 Author Report Posted October 11, 2008 Hm, I checked the tracker tab, and ther's no something like error message...If this is what you mean ^^As for the logger tab, have you been switching back and forth between 1.8.1 and an old versions?Yes, today i started using the newest version, because i thought this problem will stop if i start using 1.8.1... :/

Ultima Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 Well, in that case, it's most likely a problem with those particular trackers. AFAIK, TPB's trackers aren't known to be the most reliable trackers around in terms of uptime and connectability. Does it occur often on many other trackers?
Another Loser Posted October 11, 2008 Author Report Posted October 11, 2008 No, today is the first time that this is happening.
Ultima Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 And is it happening with a bunch of other non-TPB trackers?
Firon Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 http://www.slackware.com/getslack/torrents.phpTry a torrent from here.
Another Loser Posted October 12, 2008 Author Report Posted October 12, 2008 Tried, and they are working great... So, only torrents from mininova and tpb won't work?!
Ultima Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 You still haven't answered my question.
Another Loser Posted October 12, 2008 Author Report Posted October 12, 2008 Oh, sorry...And is it happening with a bunch of other non-TPB trackers?Nope, only with tpb trackers...
Ultima Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 So yes, it's an issue with TPB. As I've mentioned earlier, TPB's trackers are known to be unreliable/overloaded. Just be patient. Clearly, if they're still being used, then their trackers must be up at least some time of the day. For when you can't find any peers, DHT may help.
Another Loser Posted October 12, 2008 Author Report Posted October 12, 2008 Ok, thanks.I'm patient enough I put some tbp torrents, to download over night, and nothing happened, they were stil red in the morning, but nvm. I'll find some other way to download these things, or hope everything will go back to normal xD.Thanks everybody, and you can LOCK this thread.
Switeck Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 Some ISPs (and countries) have put web blocks on The Pirate Bay...this may be your problem.
