sebek
HiI think my rss is working correctly exept it's too slow. What i mean is when i check all feeds and see when a show was added on the site it doesn't match the time when the show started downloading. It started downloading almost 7 hours after it was added on the site. I want the show to start downloading as soon as it is putted on the site. How can i do that?ps. i have minimum interval set to match always
thelittlefire
What about Ctrl-P > Advanced > rss.* options? The update interval is how often the feeds are refreshed. Don't bother setting it to 1, ESPECIALLY if you open the RSS feed in your browser, and view source, and see <ttl>. TTL is in minutes and that means the site doesn't want hammering on the feeds faster than that timeframe.Read more about the Advanced options in the User Manual available press F1 in the uT GUI. sebek
i got the update interval set to 15.I guess i got it wrongDate of last match is 13.10.2008 12:15:31 but added on is 13.10.2008 6:51:43So that means torrent started at 6:51?I'm not sure it has because if it did it should be downloaded by nowah well i will check tommorow again when the next show will started downloadintnx for reply
thelittlefire
It matched then.. do you have add rss to highest priority (top of queue)? Did you check the RSS feed has a <ttl> ?
sebek
Yes i have give download highest priority checked. I don't know how to check if a feed has a ttl. If i open the feed in browser i see a blank site and the torrent file downloads again. I don't know where i can view source
thelittlefire
The feed should be something like http://my.site.com/rss.xml or http://my.site.com/feed.rss If you open it in the browser nothing should download... If you View > Source in your browser (Safari:View > View Source; Firefox: View > Page Source) you should see the markup for the feed. If there is <ttl> that would explain the refresh, if not... you should double check what a single match immediately does in your feed to the queue. It's possible they're not being added to the queue @ #1.
