jcrude
My friends comp doesn't have any ports forwarded yet still gets the green check mark. His options lists port 53800. How is this working?

GTHK
jcrude: Probably has no firewall or any router used was auto-forwarded with UPnPopapa11: Remove the nVidia firewall (Network Forceware Manager or something like that in some cases?), it's a buggy piece of crap that nVidia hasn't bothered to fix. jcrude
Thanks. Firewall is working looks normal. Router is Westell 327w and I don't see upnp anything. How do I check for the UPnP forward?Edit: nvm I see it...thanks for your help
GTHK
Check your router config (default address seems to be 192.168.1.254) for the availability of UPnP or a page showing current UPnP forwards. Did you type your make model correctly? I couldn't find it easily.Edit: Pfft.
jcrude
Haha. Yep Westell 327-w. Looks like all I have to do is select the "Enable UPnP Port Mapping" option in utorrent.
Firon
If that works for you, then manual port forwarding is unnecessary.
