Does DNS work for uTorrent?

I'm in Turkey and some of tracker's are under a ban,and it slows the speed.I can connect banned sites by changing DNS.Can I do the same way?

DNS selection is done at the operating system level, not at the application level.

You cannot change the DNS, it's not an option of your OS or computer.

If it's just a problem to access to a tracker website, use a web proxy as http://www.tntproxy.com/ etc...

I mean changing DNS via TCP/IP properties.I want to make the torrent to connect the banned trackers ,not a tracker website.

Or if you don't like the redirects on OpenDNS when a site doesn't work (and would normally just be searched by your browser):

Or if you use windows XP you open %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts with a text editor and manually add the entries to those trackers.

If you're using NOD32... well, make sure you're using µTorrent 1.8.1.
