quakebo
when i do a chech in utorrent to see if the port is open i get this mesasageChecking port 17090 on 80.6.175.221... but that is my isp's ip address and not mine. so could that be a problem. and if so how do I make it mine? moogly
It's normal. the porst tester prints your ISP IP not this one of your router/gateway seen by your computer. In the router rule, you need to enter the local IP of your computer, not this one from your ISP. moogly
Thx. I think it could be an error between Public Port (#49000 in yr screenshot) and Port (#16881).I dunno the difference but I think in uT, you need to enter 49000 for port number in Speed Guide (or Settings > Connection) but not 16881.Anyway if I compare this 2nd screenshot to your 1st one, I see this line named "Port" doesn't appear if you select TCP and not both TCP&UDP.... :/So try to enter 49000 in uT and look at the difference for the port tester and uT icon.
