Autorun?

I've been using utorrent for quite a while, and since the last update, it seems to run when my machine has been idle for a while. I'm sure this is great for some users, but not convenient for me, as it will wake my computer from standby, and (if I'm connected to a network) use bandwidth I'd rather it not be using.

I've look through the preferences menu and can't find anything about run-when-idle for ____ or anything similar. The scheduler makes sense, and is a wonderful too, but, after activating it (with every possible block set to "turn off") and then de-activating it, It seems utorrent is still launching itself. (We're not talking about running on start-up here, just when I've selected system standby, or left my machine running.

I must say I really like the client; well-built, compact, and highly effective. But I feel sort of ignorant and would like the ability to turn it off and have it stay that way, until I manually launch it to seed.

Thanks,

Meteor

Er, there is no such feature that would cause µTorrent to autolaunch... something else on your system must be launching it. Are you sure there is no malware involved here? Windows scheduler?

a) get HijackThis from trendsecure.com, run it, view the log, and post the contents here

B) get Process Explorer from sysinternals.com, run it, Ctrl+D (to show the lower DLL pane), select the µTorrent process from the list, Ctrl+S (and save the list somewhere you'll find easily -- like the Desktop), then post the contents of the saved process list in the .txt file here
