zareon
I have a weird problem, I cannot seem to get port forwarding working with utorrent (1.8.1). I have forwarded the port correctly on my router, and the thing is, everything works fine when Vuze (azureus) is running! When it's on, uTorrent tells me my port is forwarded correctly. So the problem must be in the client, but I cannot seem to get it working without Vuze running. I've tried enabling/disabling UPnP, NAT-PMP and Windows firewall options (and every possible combination of these turned on/off). I can't think of anything else I could do. Suggestions? Am I just gonna have to start using Vuze?update: It seems my dad's uTorrent works fine even without port forwarding, yet mine doesn't tho I had the exact same settings. I'm guessing it's because I'm running on Vista and he's on XP... But what does Vuze do for me that uTorrent can't seem to be able to?
russellhearn69
Running multiple torrent client will conflict with each other, my advice is to uninstall vuse and just run utorrent you will have no conflict then
zareon
umm, uninstalling vuze wouldn't help me at all, utorrent can't get my port forwarding working
Firon
Are you sure it's actually forwarding correctly? It might just be that Vuze's UPnP is successfully forwarding a port, while ut's isn't.
