Try disabling AVG's Web/HTTP/P2P filter (whichever one it has)? That'd apparently be the wormradar.com thing I see in the list. As well, get Process Explorer from sysinternals.com, run it, Ctrl+D (to show the lower DLL pane), select the µTorrent process from the list, Ctrl+S (and save the list somewhere you'll find easily -- like the Desktop), then post the contents of the saved process list in the .txt file here.

What about if IDM is closed? It has injected itself into uTorrent.. idmmkb.dll

AVG's still hooking itself. Try uninstalling it temporarily to see if the problem persists. If you feel insecure during that period, enable Windows Firewall -- it's sufficient for blocking unauthorized incoming connections.

When your system freezes, does it ever come back from the freeze? As in, have you waited a few minutes or something to see if it does.

I've waited 15 minutes and thought that long enough but if you suggest I wait longer I will...I once waited at a paint shop for some time whilst they got me some tartan paint

Does it always freeze after the same amount of time? Can you check the Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs for anything Nvidia (forceware network manager/firewall) NOT your display drivers?

Also Yahoo toolbar in the past is known to include "extra" features, could you check if it too has any firewall or AV scanner component for HTTP traffic :/

I'm having the same problems as kolobos!

It seems that if I have too much going on in the uploading I have a complete freeze. The computer is completely

unresponsive and it is the morning after meaning its not gonna come back. I have to reset the machine.

I am using edimax wireless n on an abit p35 pro. I have been using ahci for my sata settings. I think therein lies the problem. I just changed it back to regular ide. I am going to test it out and will get back.

edit:

I just updated my driver for the edimax wireless card and changed my hard drive from ahci to regular ide....It still crashes. But there is hopeful news... I just tried out a registry program called <a href="http://www.macecraft.com/">jv16 PowerTools 2008</A> It lets me fix everything while using the trial version. I tried other tools but they wouldn't let me fix the problems unless I spent the cash first. I think I should be able to see if the registry is a valid concern before spending the cash because my computer seems to works fine with everything else! I'm going to reboot and recheck everything and test it again, but I'm so frustrated that I can't even imagine it working anymore. I am also removing u torrent before reboot.
