ionlyget5 Posted October 20, 2008 Report Share Posted October 20, 2008 I am an admitted newbie but have been using uTorrent for about a month now.I fear that I may have accidentally changed a setting that interferes with my speed/downloading:Just recently when some downloads begin or when I try to restart a download that I had to pause or stop the torrent goes through some kind of "Checked" procedure before downloading.Many times the torrent DOESN'T ever get to Checked 100% and becomes able to download - even after 48 hours. Plus I have noticed that this procedure slows down my other downloads.Can anyone give me some advice? I've searched the uTorrent Help files for over 4 hours and still haven't found anything about the Status reading Checked vs. downloading, finished or stopped.Thank you very much.
