Kaz46
Hi All, I have a problem, which by the way I know is a problem with Google Desktop and UTorrent ''The Error is The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process'' Now I have had Google for quite a while and have never had this problem before I can get around this by Exiting Google and closing it down then I can continue to download if I start it up again during a download I get the above message and my download stops, but what I want to know is why after all this time should it start to interfear with UTorrent it never has done this before why should it start now???????? thelittlefire
Because google likes to index files ... alot? Did you previously have a rule for "exceptions" to scan in-progress downloads? This would mean your files are not scanned while downloading, but instead AFTER. This eliminates the problem with uTorrent writing to the file, and well, GDS trying to do so as well. This however requires you to have a directory set for incomplete downloads, and won't be retroactive for already loaded torrents.
