Gumbo_Hump
As many of you know AOL are now capping download speeds. It was alright to begin with although within the last few weeks it has really gotten out of hand. My download speeds are abysmal and barely go above 5kb/s. After spending some time looking through the guides, I've managed to increase my speeds somewhat (right now i'm getting download speeds of up to 40kb/s while upload speed is around 35ish.) but I still want faster speeds. Could someone please tell me some good settings to use? Thanks.I took a speed test earlier (speedtest.net) and my upload was 371 kb/s and 3523 kb/s.I've also enabled encryption. Harold
You could also force encryption + disallow incoming legacy connections, may help
Switeck
You're not alone.Your ISP (Carphone Warehouse Broadband Services -- which resells internet access to AOL and others) is COMPLETELY hostile to BitTorrent traffic:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=46778
