Firon
event ID 4226 refers to the ID number given to the message in the Windows Event Viewer. There's no real need to patch tcpip.sys, but even if you do, I would not recommend raising net.max_halfopen under any circumstance. It's just asking for trouble whenever MS decides to reset tcpip.sys.
aviramof
reseting tcpip.sys doesn't concern me i can identify and fix that problem very quickly the question is does it helps or not.
DreadWingKnight
It doesn't. Usefulness beyond the first minute of a torrent being started is nonexistent.
Firon
Does it help? Not really. Under certain circumstances, it might be slightly beneficial (if seeding hundreds of mostly inactive torrents, since that constantly generates connections), but it won't improve your download speeds.
