SamT
My uTorrent WebUI can't work well.Everytime I try to link, I can get the page response but only stay in first view. There is only one line 'Loading...' in the center of the page and never goes further. Where I should set in uTorrent to enable the WebUI?My system: Ubuntu 8.04.01 + Wine 1.1.6 + utorrent 1.8.1 (Build 12639) + WebUI 0.361The link: http://xxx.xxx.xx.xx:8080/gui/I never try previous version so I don't know it works or not. schnurlos
http://trac.utorrent.com/trac/wiki/HowToSearch for 'Freeze on Loading' there (the link is well hidden on the post here http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=45325 ) :/My tip: 'Loading...' in your case could be the port 8080.Try a different or the normal utorrent port. SamT
OK. thanks for your reply. I solve my problem.I should put webui.zip in both place. On my Ubuntu + Wine system, for example, I should put in ./.wine/drive_c/Program Files/uTorrent and ./.wine/drive_c/windows/profiles/sam/Application Data/uTorrenthope this helps anybody who encounter same issue. thelittlefire
It should only need 1 of those locations. Did you try it just in %APPDATA%? Program Files doesn't have the settings.dat does it?
SamT
Yes, I had settings.dat in ./.wine/drive_c/windows/profiles/sam/Application Data/uTorrentHowever, if I only put in ./.wine/drive_c/windows/profiles/sam/Application Data/uTorrent, it would stick on "Loading..."I need to put on both folder then it works fine. Maybe need to report as a bug?
Firon
Don't put the zip file anywhere. Just try letting µTorrent download it and see what happens.
fatspirit
I've got some luck only with 'two place' method too...Upd: I've tried to delete webui.zip from 'program files\utorrent' directory, and now it works well.
