chefguru
I put uTorrent on a friend's computer this morning. He called me this afternoon to let me know that when he tried using MS Excel, the spreadsheets would not use the funtions properly (doing sums and such). Putting uTorrent on his computer was the only thing different he did today.Has anyone else had any problems with MS Excel not responding correctly after using uTorrent?I've got it on 2 computers, and never had a problem with it myself.Just curious if anyone out there might have any ideas. Switeck
Almost has to be pure coincidence.High CPU load is the only thing that might be indirectly related...but even that shouldn't stop MS Excel from working correctly.
chefguru
That was my thought... it IS a rather old laptop that takes like 15 minutes to fully boot up when he turns it on.It's his work laptop though, and 75% of what it's used for is keeping track of spreadsheets that he needs the sum functions for, so I can understand his being upset. Ultima
http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=47846There was a case of buggy software hooking into µTorrent, causing odd slowdowns in Excel... perhaps this is a similar case.
